All about David

David Taylor's photography is centred on the natural, incarcerating the energy of our changing land. It is an attempt to capture the beauty of the Australian landscape from an aerial perspective.

The vitality and the sheer rawness of the landscape draws you into its unique void; the relentless chaotic weather patterns of thousands of years have resulted in surreal textures and layers of colours and patterns.

The lure of the outback is constant. It is the voice. The vastness of our wilderness is vital for our spirit and creativity. The wilderness keeps calling and this calling is forever in your Being. One cannot escape. It is like an irresistible lover.

While living and working with nature and livestock, one develops a keen connection with the land based on many years of observing and working with the vagaries of Nature. Nature in its quirkiness has the power to enrich our souls.

David has developed a strong spiritual connection with the land, through decades of observation and working with nature.

“I love the peace, the colours, nature and the sheer rawness of the landscape. Relentless chaotic weather patterns over thousands of years has resulted in the surreal”

”Much of our finest art is surpassed by nature. This is the privilege I hope to share with you.”
— David Taylor
